 That’s What She Said!

 “Girls Girls Girls”

2 of Philly’s finest female comedians
&
2 improv groups comprised of the funniest women
you will ever see!

This Months Comedian are Carolyn Busa and Mary Radzinski.

Mary Radzinski began performing stand-up in 2008. Originally from upstate New York, she draws her material from the everyday as a single girl in Philly. With a unique perspective and laid back, deliberate style, Mary’s comedy has been described as the “personification of a wink”.

Mary performs all over Philadelphia and New Jersey and was a 2009, 2010, and 2011 semi-finalist in Helium Comedy Club’s Philly’s Phunniest Contest. Her comedy was featured on Comcast onDemand “Philly Comedy” Summer 2009. She was one of three featured comics on CBS Channel 3 “Talk Philly” April 2011, and was also featured in the Philadelphia Weekly’s March 2011 cover story, “Funny Females of Philadelphia”.
She is a co-host of the weekly open-mic called “Laughs on Fairmount” which has been recognized and written up by Philadelphia Weekly.

Carolyn Busa has performed at shows and clubs all over Philadelphia, was a two-time semi-finalist in Helium Comedy Club’s Philly’s Phunniest contest and is co-host of Laughs on Fairmount, an up and coming Philly open mic. Carolyn needs no kicking and screaming to attract attention. Her awkwardly disarming stage presence has viewers laughing with ease from the start. From her childhood memories of being a nerd to the present day mysteries of childbirth and the homeless, her set goes beyond the average female perspective. Wherever the show, Carolyn finds the laughter.

Doing the Deconstruction will be: Ebony and Ivory and Bandaid Chorleson

Ebony and Ivory are the improv duo stylings of Maureen Costello and Corin Wells. Both members of the independent team Iron Lung, the two have paired up to pull together a unique long-form two person improv extravaganza. To start the show off, they’ll interview an audience member, mostly likely about an embarrassing moment in said persons’ lives and make up an entire mono-scene based on the suggestion, right there! On the spot! It’s true, look it up! They will improvise their way into your hearts.

Bandaid Chorleson

For one night only you get to see some of the best Female improvisers! Summoned from the depths of Philadelphia, a team of comediennes became Bandaid Chorleson. They are individually known as Karen Coleman, Jen Curcio, Tara Demmy, Mandy Dollar, Cara Schmidt and Becca Trabin. If you feel a ripe wisdom and quickening of the spirit for them, tie yourself to your mast until you sail to safer waters.
